Opinion:
Now,
at last we have come to the one and only Antichrist Superstar.
This album is by far my favorite album of all time. Antichrist
Superstar has it all; hate songs, religion songs, rape songs,
sex songs, and even a love song. The first and biggest single that
came out of this album is "The Beautiful People". In 1996-1997
you couldn't turn on the radio without hearing "The Beautiful
People". Every magazine had Manson's face on the cover. You would
constantly hear of kids being banned form schools for wearing a Marilyn
Manson T-Shirt. This was a very popular time for the band, especially
the singer Marilyn Manson. At this time hundreds of rumors spread
out saying things like Manson had his ribs taken out and shit like
that. Manson had to hire a personal body guard to keep him form those
Christian groups who think he is the devil. Now back to the album
itself. Every song in this album was very well thought out with alot
of feeling. If you read the lyrics and understand them you will realize
things you never have before. It makes you go "hey...thats right".
I sometimes put on the album when I am pissed off. If you want a Hate
song, your first pick will be the "Irrisponsible Hate Anthem",
this song will blow the shit that was pissing you off right out of
your head. "Man That you Fear" is very touching and emotional.
I don't wanna get all fruity with you now though but really it is.
Antichrist Superstar is a must for any rock fan and fucking
manditory for any Manson fan. And trust me when I say this:
Every song is perfect, EVERY song!
